Press player to hear Danny sing "Music of the Night"
Danny Cooper

I have been working in the industry for over 25 years as a singer, entertainer, DJ, KJ and as Celebrity Entertainer. I have done hundreds of events, live showcases and special events such as weddings, themed parties, Birthday events, Corporate events and TV.
I have an extensive background in music which I study at the Baptisit College in Riverside Ca.  I have worked with many types of talents and some not so talented people which has allowed me to gain a good understanding of what you may be looking for out of your MC/Host for your occasion or event.
I am not shy about dressing up! Halloween is my favorite holiday that's when I really get the chance to show my creative side. At most events, I will either be in a Tux, or Suit depending on the event but if the event permits for something extreme. I can usually accommodate that occaison too.
When looking for a DJ keep in mind that playing music is only part of the game - anybody can press a button. The better DJ's go beyond just music but a Entertainer  makes your event happen for all of your guest.

What you should Know:

Make sure that the DJ has references and is willing to meet with you. Make sure to go over the venue in detail. This is your venue, not every other venue he might have done in the past make sure the DJ knows what you want. Make sure he has quality equipment, and probably most important, has a written contract.

I receive about 5 phone calls a year from brides whose DJs never showed up, or cancelled at last minute, and the bride never had a contract with the DJ to begin with. Before signing a contract, discuss any overtime fees, your plans for your wedding, special songs, their back-up plans for personnel, transportation, and equipment, etc. After signing a contract with any DJ, the key to a successful wedding reception (and sometimes the ceremony) is communication.

A full-service disc jockey company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "4 hours". Consultations, music purchasing & editing, preparation, set-up and tear-down, education and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion.
